I've always leaned into my creativity. As a child, I wanted to be a comic book artist. As a teen, a singer/actor. I used to sing professionally, otherwise I would have pursued graphic/web design right out of high school. Bartending through my 20's, I met a lot of people. This made me curious about social science and history. So I pursued Anthropology, with its interdisciplinary blend of science and humanities.
I've also always had a penchant for Eastern Philosophy and am drawn to Tai Chi and Yoga. I am interested in meditative techniques like reverse embryonic breathing, and technologies like binaural beats. That's why I'm so excited about UX because it feels like the perfect fit for me. I'm skilled at this interdisciplinary, holistic approach. And UX as an applied discipline, sits at the cutting edge.
